Follow these four stages to migrate to Alignet One in an orderly manner.
1

Prepare the update

Confirm the following before making changes to the store:

New gateway file

Have the .zip file provided by Alignet ready. Do not unzip it.

Site backup

Include the files and database, or at least wp-content/plugins/.

Administrator access

The user must be able to install and remove WordPress plugins.

Low-traffic window

Avoid peak sales periods while making the change.

Merchant registration data

Request the merchant data, keys, and other credentials from the Alignet team. Keep your response URLs available.
Do not continue without a backup. You must be able to recover the site if the installation does not finish correctly.
2

Install the new plugin

  1. Go to Plugins → Add Plugin → Upload Plugin.
  2. Select the .zip file and click Install Now.
  3. Activate Alignet Gateway and confirm that it appears as active.
  4. Only then, deactivate and remove the previous WooCommerce plugin.
The order is important. Do not remove the previous version until you verify that Alignet Gateway is installed and active.

  • Error log: open WooCommerce → Status → Logs and confirm there are no Alignet errors.
  • Change control: record the date, versions, and person responsible.
